The International Symposium commenced its work at UPZ with the topic of “Eastern Alpine and Dinaric Vegetation Ecology”

On Friday, has started the international symposium "Eastern Alpine and Dinaric Vegetation Ecology", organized by the University "Ukshin Hoti" in   Prizren and the University of "Haxhi Zeka” - Peja. This symposium is attended by professors from different countries of Europe (Austria, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Spain, Croatia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, Albania, etc.) that belongs to the field of ecology and environmental protection.

Prof. Dr. Rame Vataj, Rector of the University "Ukshin Hoti"  in Prizren, as the home at the beginning of this symposium welcomed and wished successfully presented all their scholarships. Rector Vataj thanked the organizers and in particular the Rector of "Haxhi Zeka" University Peja, Prof. Dr. Fadil Millaku, to make this important events happen in UPZ. He stressed that the seriousness of this conference is the great number of scholars from many European countries, adding that such an organization is worth for UPZ but also for the whole of Kosovo. "Your contribution will also be to raise awareness about the importance of conservation of endemic plants and diversity in our country," underlined Rector Vataj.

Meanwhile, Rector of the University of Haxhi Zeka University in Peja, Prof. Dr. Fadil Millaku, during his speech as a symposium organizer, wished success to the scholars and thanked the Rector Prof. Dr. Rame Vataj, also prof. Ass. Dr. Bekim Gashi, and all organizers for the contribution given to this organization to be successful. While, Prof. Zeljko Skvorc from the University of Zagreb expressed his satisfaction that this symposium on this thematic is being organized in Prizren. He also thanked Rector Vataj and Rector Millaku for the contribution given in the framework of this conference.
