Kosovo Police lecture at UPZ on youth awareness of the consequences of extremism and religious radicalism

Kosovo Police held a lecture in front of students of University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren with topic of: "Youth Awareness on Consequences of Extremism and Religious Radicalism". The police officers were also welcomed by the Acting Rector Ass. Dr. Shemsi Morina.

The purpose of this lecture was to mobilize Kosovo's youth to cooperate with the Kosovo Police and other law enforcement agencies in presenting negative phenomena.

The topics discussed during this lecture were: the process of extremism and radicalization in Kosovo, the process of recruitment and radicalization, the clarification of the term "Secular State", the ways of presenting extremism in Kosovo and the forms of prevention of involvement, actions and police forecasts. of Kosovo against this phenomenon.

Other negative issues of Kosovar society were also discussed, such as the definition of terrorism, the causes of terrorism, victims of terrorism and the role of youth in preventing innocent homicide, with special emphasis on cooperation. parent-student-society.

The lecture was delivered by representatives of the Kosovo Police: Gazmend Hoxha, Colonel, Ramadan Ahmeti, Major, Rifat Marmullaku, National Officer for the OSCE Program in Kosovo, and Shkelzen Marevci, publisher of books on the negative phenomena of society in Kosovo, while present also Faton Alija, director of the Kosovo Police Regional Directorate in Prizren, Lieutenant Shaban Osmanollaj, Head of the KP Information Office for the Prizren Region, and Sergeant Vesel Gashi from the KP community, Prizren KP.

Kosovo Police representatives finally distributed student brochures about these negative phenomena.
