The 12% quota reserved for students from non-majority communities will be proportionally distributed according to the percentage of the total number of students in each faculty program.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates eligible to apply include those who have completed a <strong>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong> or basic studies prior to the Bologna Declaration in any accredited higher education institution in Kosovo. Under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates who completed their basic (Bachelor\u2019s) studies at the University \u201cUkshin Hoti\u201d Prizren.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who completed their undergraduate studies <strong>outside Kosovo<\/strong> may also apply. In such cases, the candidate must provide a decision on the <strong>recognition\/nostrification<\/strong> of their diploma issued by MASHTI.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who have completed previous studies in one field may apply for a master\u2019s program in a <strong>different field<\/strong>. If admitted, the Study Commission of the respective academic unit may assign <strong>differential exams<\/strong> to be taken in advance. The number of such exams will depend on the comparability of the candidate\u2019s previous program with the intended master\u2019s program, with a maximum of <strong>five differential exams<\/strong>. These exams are administered before a three-member committee and their records are ratified by the council of the relevant academic unit.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates already enrolled in any study program at any level <strong>within the University<\/strong> are <strong>not eligible<\/strong> to apply for another program unless they have completed or officially withdrawn from their current studies.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates applying for admission to the University \u201cUkshin Hoti\u201d Prizren for the 2025\/26 academic year <strong>may apply to only one faculty, department, or program<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For humanitarian considerations, candidates with <strong>special needs<\/strong> will receive an additional <strong>5 bonus points<\/strong> on the entrance exam. The status of candidates with special needs must be proven with relevant certificates issued by competent institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> METHOD OF CANDIDATE SELECTION<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The selection of candidates for all faculties will be based on the following criteria, with a <strong>maximum of 100 points<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Success in basic studies:<\/strong> up to <strong>30% of the points<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Success in the entrance exam:<\/strong> up to <strong>70% of the points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only candidates who achieve <strong>at least 40%<\/strong> of the points on the entrance exam are eligible for ranking and admission.<br \/>\nCandidates who fail to reach this 40% threshold <strong>cannot be admitted<\/strong>, even if there are unfilled places.<\/p>\n<p>If the total points of candidates ranked at the bottom of the accepted list are <strong>equal<\/strong> to those of other candidates outside the planned quota, selection will be based on:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Entrance exam results<\/strong> (higher score prevails).<\/li>\n<li>If those are also identical, the <strong>undergraduate GPA<\/strong> will be considered.<\/li>\n<li>If still tied, <strong>female candidates<\/strong> will have priority.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Faculties are required to send the complete list of applicants to the University Rectorate and publish it on the official university website.<br \/>\nAcademic units first publish <strong>preliminary results<\/strong>, giving unsuccessful candidates the right to appeal. Only after the appeals are reviewed are the <strong>final lists<\/strong> released, which must <strong>not exceed<\/strong> the total number of seats announced in the competition.<br \/>\nCandidates at the bottom of the preliminary acceptance list are <strong>not guaranteed admission<\/strong> until the appeals period has ended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>III. APPLICATION DEADLINES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application and Document Submission:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>8 September 2025 \u2013 19 September 2025<\/strong>, from <strong>09:00 to 16:00<\/strong> (every day except Sunday).<br \/>\nOn the final day, applications are accepted <strong>until 16:00<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Documents for Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed application form (downloaded during online application at <a href=\"http:\/\/smu.uni-prizren.com\">smu.uni-prizren.com<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Original birth certificate<\/li>\n<li>Original or notarized copy of the Bachelor\u2019s diploma, or the original\/notarized graduation certificate<\/li>\n<li>Official transcript of undergraduate grades (except for candidates who earned their Bachelor\u2019s at UUHP)<\/li>\n<li>For candidates who completed undergraduate studies <strong>outside Kosovo<\/strong>: MASHTI-issued decision on diploma recognition<\/li>\n<li>Proof of institutional accreditation for candidates who studied abroad or at private colleges in the Republic of Kosovo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Note:<\/em> Based on Administrative Instruction 09\/2021, <strong>candidates are exempt from paying an entrance exam fee<\/strong>.<br \/>\nPlease ensure that personal details and contact information (especially email) are
