International Scientific Conference \"BRIDGE 2022\" started<\/h3><\/div>
<\/p>\n

The International Scientific Conference “BRIDGE 2022” started on Friday 9.12.2022. Co-organizers of the conference are: University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, University of Southeast Europe in Tetovo, Pamukkale University – Turkey, ITP-Prizren and DokuFest. During the two days that this conference will last, 164 researchers, from the country, the region and the world, will present their work with 98 scientific works.<\/p>\n

The host of this scientific conference, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Samedin Krrabaj – Rector at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren in his speech emphasized that after the very successful edition of the international summer school, which was held at the University in August, the University is closing this 2022 calendar year with an event of this international primacy, which was realized thanks to the work of the organizational council and the cooperation with the participating partners. “Ukshin Hoti” University is putting Prizren and Kosovo on the map of places where important events are organized. As the historical, multi-ethnic and multicultural capital of Kosovo, Prizren is gradually becoming the center of education and science. As an institution, we are committed to realizing our mission, for quality teaching, quality research and contribution to the community”, emphasized Rector Krrabaj. He added that the University of Prizren is already a consolidated institution, which is continuing its work with a sixty-year academic legacy in higher education. He recalled that the offices of the Center for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer were inaugurated weeks ago in ITP-Prizren, which, thanks to the cooperation with ITP-Prizren and our state institutions, will contribute to the third mission of the University, that of the connection with the macro-environment where it operates. In the end, Rector Krrabaj wished success in the disclosure of their research work to all participants of the conference, while he thanked the co-organizers for their contribution.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, as the Keynote Speakers of the conference, presented: Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Rexhepi \u2013 Rector of UEJL, on the topic: Green energy and energy transition. Prof. Dr. Ensar Yesoilyurt \u2013 Vice Rector of Pamukkale University, presented on the topic: Economics as an anachronistic science. Prof. Dr. Shpresa Delija from the University of Tirana spoke about “Strategic thinking for education in the new era”. Meanwhile, Linda Llulla-Gashi – Executive Director of Dokufest, spoke about “Documentary film and audio-visual methods in the classroom”. Kobi Kalderon – founder & CEO (GVI) of Gold Ventures Investments and international business development GVI Western Balkans, presented on the topic: Investment strategy in times of recession as part of the new trend in VC strategy.<\/p>\n

Simon Flooth – Project Manager – GIZ – ITP-Prizren, presented on the topic “Better together – the unique selling point of cross-sectoral cooperation”. While Leon Eisen from GVI (Gold Ventures investment) international partner, presented on the topic: AI-related trends that shape healthcare in an invisible way.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the researchers participating in the Conference will present their works on 10.12.2022, at the Faculty of Economics, University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren.<\/p>\n
