Prizren University \u201cUkshin Hoti\u201d, concludes a cooperation agreement with Rahovec Municipality<\/h3><\/div>

On Wednesday, Prizren University \u201cUkshin Hoti\u201d together with the Municipality of Rahovec concluded a cooperation agreement, which was signed by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani and Mr. Smajl Latifi – Major of the Municipality.<\/p>\n

Rector Alishani expressed his gratitude for Mayor Latifi’s visit and his willingness to collaborate with the University in mutual beneficial areas. He emphasized that, in addition to other fields, he would focus on advancing programs that are of particular interest to the Prizren region, especially the Rahovec municipality, which is known for its development in the agribusiness field.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Mayor Latifi extended his congratulations to the Rector on his new role and emphasized their commitment to continuing and enhancing the collaboration. He expressed his interest in Prizren University expanding its study programs in the field of viticulture and other agricultural activities relevant to the Rahovec municipality.<\/p>\n

The essence of the signed agreement lies in the cooperation for the design and implementation of collaborative national and international projects related to overall educational, social, and economic development.<\/p>\n

This agreement also includes the exchange of various experts, University students\u2019 practices done at the Rahovec municipality and other subordinate institutions. Additionally, it involves supporting students through scholarship, using institutional and municipal spaces for students, academic and administrative staff, the communal library, sports center, sports field, and communal cultural institutions. Furthermore, engaging a representative of the Municipality in Advisory Industrial Board of Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, as well as cooperating in the realization of the International Summer School.<\/p>\n

Present at the meeting were the Mr. Nexhmedin Krasniqi – General Secretary and Mr. Tauland Tha\u00e7i \u2013 leader of the Project Office. Representing Rahovec Municipality were Mr. Qemajl Krasniqi and Mr. Ali Morina.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by L\u00e9onore BALLUE, Clotilde MARTIN, from the University Training: Vine and Wine France-Kosovo project, who also delivered a lecture. Additionally, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ekrem Gjoka and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Nol Krasniqi, who are actively involved in this project, were present. The municipality of Rahovec plays a significant role in this successful project.<\/p>\n
