At the University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren, the New Academic Year 2022/2023 begins
At “Ukshin Hoti” University in Prizren, on October 3, 2022, the new academic year 2022/2023 started. On this occasion, the University solemnly welcomed the students with numerous activities within the framework of the Welcome Week. On Monday, the students of the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Computer Sciences were solemnly welcomed. The students were welcomed by the Management and the academic and administrative staff of the Academic Unit. In the beginning, the deans, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Xhafer Beqiraj, elected Dean of this faculty and Prof. Asst. Dr. Zirije Hasni, Acting Dean of the AFC, who informed them about the history, mission and vision of the faculties and the objectives they are working to achieve.
Meanwhile, Nehat Gashi, Coordinator of the Career & Alumni Center, informed the students about the mission and vision of the CAC and the related tasks. Also, he revealed to the students the Student Handbook and other issues related to this Center, which will support them during their studies and after graduation.
Prof. Asst. Dr. Adelina Raka, Vice Chancellor for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure, presented the Code of Ethics to the students, informing them of their obligations and to implement it. She also notified students of: Principles and Standards of Student Conduct, Student Obligations, Student Rights, Unethical Conduct and Serious Student Violations, Student Unethical Behavior and Minor Violations, Student Relationship with the University/Faculty , The relationship between students and academic and administrative staff, Ethical behavior of students in scientific and publishing work, Pronunciation of disciplinary measures and procedures. The holders of the programs of the academic units announced in short points about the loads of the respective study program, the overview of the program, passability, assessment, subjects (Z, O), ECTS, etc. The presidents of the student councils spoke briefly about the role of students, their rights, their representation, cooperation with the Career and Alumni Center, etc.. In the end, the management of the academic unit informed the students about the infrastructure within the Faculty and the University Campus.
