Center for research, innovation and knowledge transfer

The purpose of the Center for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer is to provide educational, scientific-research, professional and artistic services. It aims to be a research-scientific and applied center, promoting the development and use of research results to address the needs of the University, business community, industry, government and stakeholders.

The Center will develop a clear strategy for using the results of the academic, scientific and artistic work of the University. Also, it will work on increasing funds to support the realization of the University’s mission.

University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren is the winner of the 2023/2024 University Support Grant Program funded by the United States Embassy in Kosovo through Kosovo United States Alumni – KUSA.

Our university has won the project entitled “Strengthening research and development through the effective functioning of the Center for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (QKIDT) at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren”.
On 15.12.2023, the project coordinator, Dr. Dorinë Rakaj and the representative of KUSA Mr. Fisnik Ahmeti have signed the agreement for this project. This project is in harmony with the goals of the 2023/2024 University Support Grants Program, which is about supporting activities related to the establishment or operationalization of research and development (R&D) centers of academic HEIs.
Our university thanks the representatives of the US Embassy in Kosovo and the staff of KUSA in Pristina for their continuous support in building research capacities.
