The offices of the Center for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer of UPZ are opened in ITP-Prizren
With a solemn ceremony, on Friday 04.11.2022, the offices of the Center for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (QKITD) of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren were opened in the premises of ITP-Prizren. The opening was made with the cutting of the ribbon by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Samedin Krrabaj – Rector and Muhamed Rexhepi – representative of ITP-Prizren. The management staff, deans and administration of the University participated in the ceremony.
QKITD was established by the University for scientific-research purposes, professional and artistic services, namely the creation of a center for the purpose of research-scientific and applied work, as well as their promotion, in accordance with the needs of the University, the business, industrial community, government, as well as stakeholders.
Rector Krrabaj called the opening of QKITD a concrete achievement that is being marked by the university thanks to the work and dedication of the staff, but also of the partners, the cooperation with which has marked results in the past, such as the very successful first edition of the summer school international.
On this occasion, Rector Krrabaj distributed gratitude for the contribution given to the development of the University for ITP-Prizre, which was accepted by Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi and for the “KREN” project, which Mr. Atif Bushani.
Meanwhile, Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi, representative of ITP-Prizren, emphasized that they welcome the opening of this Center, which is very important for the development of ITP-Prizren, as he emphasized, cooperation can also be achieved with a physical presence inside the premises. He was optimistic that the cooperation with “Ukshin Hoti” University will bear fruit in the future as well.
Even Mr. Atif Bushani from the “KREN” project congratulated the University for opening these offices and thanked Rector Krrabaj for sharing his gratitude for the cooperation so far. He also emphasized that they expect to be jointly involved in achieving the mission of this Center but also in other joint work of general interest.
The vice-rector for teaching, student affairs and scientific research, Prof. Asst. Dr. Zirije Hasani, who took care of the organization of the ceremony, thanked the partners ITP-Prizren and the KREN Project, for the support of the university.
Mr. Visar Haxifazliu, from ITP-Priznre”, who also congratulated the University for this achievement.
It is worth noting that the opening of these offices will not cost the University, for which the Rector expressed his gratitude for the support provided.
Involvement and cooperation with the University in the relevant fields was foreseen in the idea when ITP-Prizren was established.
