Leaving the University

The regular student loses the status for the following reasons:

  • when he decides to leave his studies;
  • when he finished his studies;
  • when he fails to register in the academic year;
  • when he did not complete his studies in the double period of the duration of his studies;
  • when you reach the maximum number of re-registration years without successfully completing your studies;
  • in the case of exclusion, based on the decision issued after the disciplinary procedure.

The student can ask once to extend the duration of studies for one (1) or two (2) years. The decision is taken by the council of the academic unit. If a positive decision is made, the student will have the status of a regular student again.

The council of the academic unit applies the special rules for maintaining the status of a regular student in the following cases:

  • for special achievements in the field of sports, certified by amateur or professional status at the regional level or above;
  • for special achievements as a well-known artistic creator, confirmed by the relevant media reaction and confirmed by the Council of the Faculty of Arts;
  • for persons with special needs, certified by a medical council certificate.

The decision on registration is taken each year by the council of the academic unit
