The Faculty of Philology at the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren has today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the prestigious company BARUTI AG, thereby opening new professional and academic opportunities for our students, particularly those enrolled in the German Language and Literature program.

The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, and the representative of BARUTI AG, Mr. Muhamet Veliu, during an official ceremony held at the Rectorate. The event was attended by academic staff of the Faculty of Philology as well as representatives of the company.

The cooperation aims to establish a sustainable bridge between university studies and the labor market by offering students:

• Professional internships lasting 3–6 months at the company’s premises

• Joint trainings in professional communication in German, customer service skills, and German communication standards

• Study visits and presentations by industry experts

• Employment opportunities for third-year students and graduates

• Support for academic and developmental activities, including scholarships for top-performing students

• Participation in the International Summer School of the University of Prizren (ISSP)

During the visit, BARUTI AG presented its field of work, career opportunities, and the role of the German language in the professional services sector. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with company executives and learn more about the profiles currently in demand in the labor market.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the University and BARUTI AG expressed their readiness to immediately begin implementing the activities outlined in the agreement and to expand cooperation through future projects.
