The master class was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of France and CFI within the project “Balkan Voices 2”.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Olivier Guérot, Ambassador of France to Kosovo, who was received earlier in a courtesy meeting by the Rector of the University “Ukshin Hoti”, Prof. Dr. Mentor Alishani. Following the meeting, the official ceremony featured welcoming addresses by:

The master class, held on 21 October 2025, offered an interdisciplinary approach for students from the three departments of the Faculty of Philology (Albanian Language and Literature, English Language, and German Language). It introduced them to European integration processes, institutional communication, media ethics, and the role of language in public discourse.
A special part of the ceremony was the question-and-answer session, during which students had the opportunity to engage directly with Ambassador Guérot. The discussion focused on topics such as:
-
the role of youth in European integration processes,
-
cultural and educational perspectives of Kosovo–France relations,
-
the importance of public communication in modern democracies.
The Ambassador responded with great interest and encouraged students to remain engaged in their fields of study and to take advantage of opportunities for international cooperation.
Students expressed high appreciation for the experience and the opportunity to dialogue with a senior European diplomat, while the Faculty of Philology and the University of Prizren reaffirmed the importance of continuing such projects that strengthen the academic and international dimension of the university.
The Faculty extends its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of France for the ongoing cooperation and valuable support provided to our students.
