The University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti” is the co-organizer of the 8th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICONST 2025), which is taking place from 28 to 30 May 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, hosted by Obuda University and in collaboration with a wide range of academic institutions from the region and beyond.

This conference, which is being held in a hybrid format (physically and online), has as its central theme “Science for Sustainable Technology” and aims to promote scientific research, innovation and solutions for a more sustainable future.

The University of Prizren was represented by the Rector, Prof.assoc, dr,  Mentor Alishani, who delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of academic exchange and international cooperation in sustainable development.

The scientific sessions of the conference were attended and presented by Vice-Rector  prof.assoc.dr. Serdan Kervan, as well as professors prof.ass.dr. Esen Spahi-Kovaç and prof.ass.dr.Esma Kasemi, who contributed with important research papers in their respective fields.

The involvement of the University of Prizren as a co-organizer in this high-level event is a testament to its commitment to the development of science, internationalization and the enhancement of academic quality.
