University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren Wins Erasmus+ Project SINCERE
The University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren has successfully secured the project Strengthening Integrity and Ethical Culture in Regional Higher Education (SINCERE), funded by the Erasmus+ program. The project is designed to foster academic integrity and promote an ethical culture within higher education institutions in Kosovo and Albania.
Over a period of 36 months, SINCERE will establish an institutional framework for academic integrity, deliver targeted training for academic and administrative staff, strengthen the use of digital tools to combat plagiarism, and create a Regional Academic Integrity Network (RAIN). This initiative is expected to have a long-term impact on higher education policies and standards across the region.
The consortium brings together partners from Kosovo, Albania, Romania, and Poland. The University of Prizren, in collaboration with the University of Medicine in Tirana, will coordinate Work Package 4 – Operationalizing the Academic Integrity Framework, focusing on the institutional implementation of academic integrity policies within partner universities.
