The University of Prizren has been awarded the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Project, an internationally recognized program that brings academic and professional expertise from the United States to support institutional and scientific development.

The aim of this project is to develop a regulation for the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), thereby contributing to the creation of new standards for the integration of technology in higher education and scientific research.

The project is coordinated by Prof. Ass. Dr. Dorinë Rakaj, who will lead the planning and implementation process in cooperation with the American expert and the university’s management.

The University of Prizren extends special gratitude to the U.S. Embassy in Prishtina, USKEB – U.S.– Kosovo Educational Exchange Board, and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation for their continuous support.

This project will create new opportunities for students, academic staff, and the institution as a whole by strengthening internationalization, fostering responsible AI policies, and enhancing academic quality.
