On Friday, at Prizren University ‘Ukshin Hoti,’ the VI Congress of International Agriculture – UTAK 2023 started. This event was organized in cooperation with the Pamukkale University, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Yozgat Bozok University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, and Comrat University.

Apart from the Rectors of the University partners, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development, Imri Demelzi, and also the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Sabri Tunc Angili, also participated in the opening.

The host of this event, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, Rector of Prizren University “Ukshin Hoti”, highlighted the importance of this organized event for the institution he leads. He said, “I’m certain that every presentation and discussion held here will help in creating ideas that will benefit today’s world and future generations.”

At the end, the Rector expressed his appreciation to the organizing council and all the partners for their contribution to organizing this great conference in a beautiful city like Prizren.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development, Imri Demelezi, said that the government has decided to invest in science, studies, and research to improve the sector. He added that the congress has the potential to bring valuable proposals for further development.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Sabri Tunc Angili, and the Rector of the University partners also warmly congratulated this congress. 

The VI International Congress of Agriculture – UTAK 2023 will end on September 4, 2023. We are grateful for everyone’s contributions to this important event.
