Industrial Advisory Board of the Faculty of Life and Environment Science held a regular meeting where it was discussed for concrete cooperation with common interest of Industry.
The Industrial Advisory Board of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences on Monday held the next meeting with the following agenda: Joint cooperation initiatives (workshops) between the University and the Business Industry; Identification of current topics and challenges in the field of agribusiness and forest and environmental sciences for which workshops can be organized (e.g environmental safety, food, development of traditional businesses, innovation in the field of programs in FLES, etc.); Invited by businesses to benefit from a particular topic in the workshop; Discussion and agreement on holding at least one lecture for this semester with guests from IAB; Identification of research topics by professors and students; Proposing a new course / program in FLES to respond to market needs; Career fair for student professional internship.
After fruitful discussions by IAB members, it was agreed to hold a workshop with industry members on the topics: The Impact of Forests on Tourism Capacity Building in Kosovo and the Importance of Technology in the Agribusiness Sector.
These activities are being carried out at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren in order to meet the objectives set out in the Strategic Plan of the University 2020-2024, about the contribution to the community, through the transfer of knowledge.
