

Italian Corner Inaugurated at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren with the Support of Italian KFOR
The Faculty of Education at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren hosted the inauguration ceremony of the Italian Corner, a dedicated space for promoting Italian culture, language, and literature in Kosovo.
This initiative was made possible with the support of the Italian KFOR, which financed its equipment and setup as part of its commitment to intercultural cooperation and support for higher education in Kosovo.
The ceremony was attended by the Rector of the University, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, Colonel Francesco Errico, Commander of the Italian KFOR, representatives of the Italian military mission, academic staff, students, and representatives from various local and international institutions.
In his address, Rector Alishani expressed gratitude to the Italian KFOR for their tangible support, emphasizing that “this space symbolizes not only the friendship between Kosovo and Italy but also our shared commitment to educational, cultural, and international advancement.”
Colonel Francesco Errico highlighted the importance of such collaborations, noting that initiatives like this strengthen community ties and create opportunities for young people.
The Italian Corner will serve as a valuable resource for students and researchers, enriched with books, didactic materials, and cultural activities related to Italian heritage.
The University “Ukshin Hoti” remains committed to building bridges of cooperation with international missions and academic institutions worldwide, with the aim of enhancing quality and enriching the student experience.
