A meeting was held at the premises of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren between the university management and the Commander of KFOR, Major General Özkan Ulutaş. The visit aimed to discuss opportunities for strengthening institutional cooperation and deepening communication between the University and KFOR.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, who was accompanied by other members of the university management:

Prof. Ass. Dr. Luan Vardari – Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research;
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Serdan Kervan – Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement;
Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Rakaj – Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure;
MSc. Nexhmedin Krasniqi – Secretary General of the University;
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Vjollca Dibra – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philology.

As part of the visit, a discussion was also held with student representatives and representatives of the Student Parliament of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren. This discussion served as an opportunity to exchange views on the importance of intercultural dialogue, inclusion, and the role of students in building an inclusive university community.

During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for cooperation between the University and KFOR, with a particular focus on strengthening institutional communication and supporting initiatives that promote intercultural dialogue and responsible engagement in society.

The parties also exchanged perspectives regarding institutional needs and the possibilities for developing joint projects in the future, which could contribute to strengthening cooperation between institutions and the academic community.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, highlighting the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the role of academic institutions in promoting understanding and dialogue in society.
