On Friday, the closing ceremony of the International Summer School Prizren 2022, which was held from August 1-12, 2022, was held at the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren. On this occasion, Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Samedin Krrabaj and the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci distributed certificates to the participating students. Rector Krrabaj expressed his belief that the University has taken an important step towards internationalization. “Ukshin Hoti” University is successfully concluding the first edition of the International Summer School today, thanks to the work and dedication of committed professors, international and local, volunteer students and the organizational council, who deserve a special thanks, emphasized Rector Krrabaj thanking the co-organizing partners of the Summer School, DokuFest and ITP-Prizren, as well as the many donors who have supported us without reserve. Addressing the students, he emphasized that we have tried to do everything possible for you to return to your places with the best memories of the University, our city and our country. The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mrs. Arbërie Nagavci congratulated the management of the University and all those involved in the organization of the first edition of the summer school, encouraging them to start working on the organization of the next edition, for which he assured them that they will have her support, because it is a good job for the institution and in general for the country. The Mayor of Prizren, Mr. Shaqir Totaj also congratulated the University for organizing such a big event that took place in the city of Prizren, for which the Municipality of Prizren also contributed. Robert Wilton, mentor of the “Learning through film” course, thanked for the opportunity to be part of this Summer School, with this great organization. Tara Kaila from India, a student at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Austria, who attended the course “Agricultural and Food Policy Responses to the Covid-19 Crisis”, emphasized that they are leaving with very good impressions of the hospitality that has been done to them and for all the teaching and extracurricular activities they have developed.
