The continuation of the Welcome Week activities organized by the Career & Alumni Center
At “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren University, the Welcome Week activities organized by the Career & Alumni Center continued on Tuesday. Students of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, students of the Faculty of Law and those of the Faculty of Economics were solemnly welcomed.
The students were hosted by the Management and the academic and administrative staff of the academic unit.
At the beginning, an introductory speech was given by the deans, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Plakiqi-Milami, elected Dean of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, elected Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Assoc. Dr. Muharrem Faiku and the temporary Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Asst. Dr. Anera Musliu.
Meanwhile, the Career & Alumni Center Coordinator, Nehat Gashi, informed the students about the mission, vision and the relevant tasks of CAC. He also revealed the Student Handbook and other issues related to this Center, which will support students during their studies and after graduation.
Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Raka, Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure, presented the Code of Ethics to the students of these three faculties, informing them regarding their obligations on its implementation. She notified students of: Principles and Standards of Student Conduct, Student Obligations, Student Rights, Student Unethical Behavior and Serious Violations, Student Unethical Behavior and Minor Violations, Student Relationship with the University/Faculty, Report of students with academic and administrative staff, Ethical behavior of students in scientific and publishing work, Pronunciation of disciplinary measures and procedures.
The holders of the programs of the academic units announced shortly about the loads of the relevant study program, the program overview, evaluation, assessment, subjects (Z, O), ECTS, etc.
The presidents of the student councils spoke briefly about the role of students, their rights, their representation, cooperation with the Career and alumni center, etc.
At the end, the Management of the Academic Unit informed the students about the infrastructure within the Faculty and the University Campus.
Students will have access to PPT (presentations) and photos, which will be uploaded on the University’s website (i.e. on the pages of the relevant Faculties).
