The delegation from the University of IOWA visited the University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren
An academic staff delegation from the University of Iowa, United States of America, visited Prizren University “Ukshin Hoti”. Part of the delegation was: Dr. Russel Ganim (Dean of International Programs), Dr. Daniel L. Clay (Dean, College of Education, University of Iowa), Dr. Cassie L. Barnhardt (Associate Professor and a Senior Research Fellow, Public Policy Center- University of Iowa) and Dr. Carolyn Lawrence- Dill (Dean for Research and Innovation, Iowa State University).
The Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Samedin Krrabaj together with the vice-rectors Prof. Ass. Dr. Zirije Hasani, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Arsim Susuri and Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Rrakaj, and the deans Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Milaimi and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ercan Canhasi.
After the official signing and initiation of the project founded by USAID, a visit was done, with the purpose of connecting the University and the private sector in the field of computer science and agribusiness. The management informed the visitors about the research work at the University and the laboratories owned by two faculties. Additionally, they were informed for the University’s collaboration with the industry.
During this visit, the University of Prizren started a collaboration with the American University, with the aim of preparing students for the labor market. This partnership involves the exchange of best practices between the two institutions.
