The workshop "Creativity Industry, Craft Production and Tourism Sector" Was held within the project "ICT for Kosovo's Growth"

As part of the ICT Project for Kosovo’s Growth, a workshop was held at Ukshin Hoti University on the topic: Creativity Industry, Craft Production and Tourism Sector. In this workshop participated Mrs. Edita Krasniqi, ICT for Kosovo’s Growth – Project PMO, who opened the workshop and gave a keynote address, then about the rules of Hackathon and an introduction introduced by Mr. Gurhan Hatipoglu, ICT for Kosovo’s Growth – Project Key ICT Expert, on behalf of the university spoke Prof. Ass.Dr. Arsim Susuri, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement, from the Municipality of Prizren spoke the senior official Mrs. Kaltrina Paska.
The project “EU Support to the Competitiveness of the ICT Sector in Kosovo”, aims to increase the competitiveness of digital and traditional businesses in Kosovo by supporting the growth of the ICT sector in Kosovo that leads to growth and the creation of new work.
Furthermore, the project aims to bridge the digital divide and business capabilities in a sustainable way that meets the needs of the market and increase the competitiveness of Kosovo’s digital and traditional businesses and increase the export of Kosovar ICT businesses, and traditional businesses through use of ICT.
The project is focused on providing training and courses on ICT, Digital Skills and Business Management.
Creativity, Industry, Craft Production and the tourism sector are essential for Prizren and its region. Information and Communication Technology is essential for increasing productivity, for efficient distribution of creativity, for improving the quality of handicraft products, while the tourism sector without the support of Information Technology has failed to be local.
