Colonel Lorenzo Mangia Visits the University of Prizren

Today, the “Ukshin Hoti” University of Prizren had the pleasure of welcoming Colonel Lorenzo Mangia, Commander of the KFOR Regional Command–West (RC-W).

The delegation was received by Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mentor Alishani together with members of the university’s management team.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation between the University of Prizren and the Italian KFOR contingent, focusing on the development of joint academic and cultural activities as well as support for projects that benefit student life and the local community.

Rector Alishani expressed his gratitude to Colonel Mangia for the visit and for the continuous support that the Italian KFOR has provided to both the university and the city of Prizren.

It was highlighted that, most recently, the University of Prizren inaugurated the “Italian Corner,” a modern space funded by the Italian KFOR to serve students as a hub for study and cultural activities.

The visit was hailed as an important step toward strengthening the partnership and building new bridges of collaboration.
