

University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Basic Court in Prizren
In the framework of strengthening interinstitutional cooperation and advancing the quality of legal education, the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, through the Faculty of Law, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation with the Basic Court in Prizren.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, on behalf of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, and Ms. Shpresa Emra, President of the Basic Court in Prizren.
Ass. Milot Krasniqi was also present at the meeting, representing the Faculty of Law and supporting the signing process of the memorandum.
The purpose of this memorandum is to strengthen professional and academic ties, with a focus on:

developing legal practice opportunities for students;

exchanging professional expertise;

organizing joint academic, research, and scientific activities;

creating a stronger connection between legal theory and judicial practice.
The Basic Court will support the Bachelor and Master programs, facilitate the development of professional internships for law students, and participate in joint conferences, publications, and trainings.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Law of UUHP will provide institutional support for the implementation of joint activities, the development of legal clinics, and the enhancement of students’ and staff capacities.
The memorandum will be valid for a three-year period, with the possibility of renewal, and is expected to significantly contribute to advancing students’ practical experience and strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.
This step represents an important milestone in consolidating institutional collaboration and creating new opportunities for professional and academic development in the field of law.
