Acting Rector Krrabaj welcomed in the meting the representatives fro National School of the Bordeaux Sciences Agro from France.
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Samedin Krrabaj acting Rector of the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren with his associates, on Tuesday received in a meeting the representatives of the project “University level training Vineyards and Wines France-Kosovo” funded by the French government through the call “Higher Education in the Western Balkans”, where The Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences of the University “Ukshin Hoti” is a partner.
Acting Rector Krrabaj thanked them for the visit and for the support of the university and the country through this project. He expressed readiness to collaborate on similar projects in the future.
The representatives of the project thanked him for the hospitality and expressed their satisfaction that they had the opportunity to cooperate in this project, expressing the will to continue the cooperation in the future.
The purpose of this project is Franco-Kosovo cooperation in promoting the development of the vineyard and wine ecosystem in Kosovo and in the international arena by contributing to the consolidation of the specialized training offer based on the expertise of France and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, region of familiar with the highest quality wines in the world. Through this collaborative project, university education will bring together local training needs and build a training offering tailored to the local context and market needs, based on the French model which combines theoretical and practical teaching. Beneficiaries of this project will be students and the business community in this field.
