

Ambassador of Hungary Visits the University of Prizren
The University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren had the pleasure of welcoming the Ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo, H.E. László István Dux, on an official visit. He was accompanied by Mr. Aron Kerekgyarto, First Secretary / Economic Attaché, and Mr. Martin Sarik, Second Secretary.
The delegation was received by the Rector of the University, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, together with the university’s leadership team:

Prof. Ass. Dr. Luan Vardari – Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research;

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Serdan Kervan – Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement;

Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Rakaj – Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure.
During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation between academic institutions in Kosovo and Hungary, particularly in the areas of student and academic staff exchange, joint research projects, and international study programs. The importance of scholarship programs and initiatives that support academic mobility was also emphasized.
Ambassador Dux highlighted the important role of universities in the development of society and expressed readiness to support further cooperation between higher education institutions in Hungary and the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren.
The meeting was held in a very friendly and constructive atmosphere, opening the way for new initiatives and collaborative projects in the future.
