An information session was held on academic and psychological counseling services
On this occasion, Prof. Asst. Dr. Zirije Hasani, Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research, congratulated the students on the beginning of the summer semester, wishing them good studies and success. She emphasized that the University, with the aim of increasing the number of services for students so that they achieve the highest success in their studies, has developed a strategy for the prevention of dropping out of studies”, emphasized the Vice-Rector, presenting the new services that are now available to students they will use them. She added that tutor students will be engaged very soon.
Nehat Gashi, coordinator of the Career & Alumni Center, presented the work that has been done so far and emphasized that the Career Center is the bridge between the university and the employer, as a mechanism to help you find yourself in the job market.
Asst. Fikret Ramadani explained to the students the duties of academic advisers in each academic unit. He informed that under the general direction of the dean from each faculty and in cooperation with the Career Center, the Academic Advisor coordinates counseling activities for students regarding study programs, academic success and works closely with tutor students and the Career Center, to orient them towards the future profession.
Meanwhile, Prof. Asst. Dr. Pranvera Jetishi-Çollaku, engaged to be at the service of students for psychological counseling, spoke about the importance of taking care of mental health. She informed the students that from now on she will be available to students for psychological counseling.
The President of the Student Parliament, Fatlind Tredhaku, in his speech at this informative session, highly appreciated the services provided by the University to the students, expressing his belief that they will influence their academic success.
