

Coordination Meeting on Quality Assurance Enhancement and Accreditation Processes
On 12 May 2026, a coordination meeting was held in the Senate Hall with the deans of academic units, chairpersons of faculty-level quality committees, faculty quality assurance officers, as well as representatives of the Office for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdan Kervan, Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance and International Cooperation.
The meeting aimed to coordinate activities and advance quality assurance processes in line with institutional and program standards, as well as preparations for accreditation and reaccreditation procedures.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the finalization of annual evaluation reports and the development of action plans for the implementation of recommendations based on the PDCA cycle, the implementation of recommendations arising from internal evaluations and recent accreditation/reaccreditation processes, as well as six-month reporting on the progress achieved.
Participants also discussed the implementation of quality standards at the program level in accordance with the manual and regulations of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, challenges related to quality enhancement processes, post-accreditation procedures, and preparations for accreditation and reaccreditation applications for existing and new study programs.
The importance of cooperation and coordination between academic units and quality assurance structures was emphasized, with the aim of continuously advancing the quality of teaching, scientific research, and student services.
