On 18 April 2026, the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren had the honor of hosting an official visit from Ambassador Rainer Rudolph, during which a formal meeting was held with the Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Serdan Kervan; the Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance, and Infrastructure, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Adelina Rakaj; Prof. Assoc. Dr. Vjollca Dibra, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philology; Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ilir Krusha, Head of the German Language and Literature program; and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Shpëtim Zymberaj. As part of the visit, a roundtable discussion on German–Kosovar relations was held, bringing together university representatives, academic staff, and students. The discussion explored opportunities to expand cooperation in education, academic exchange, and joint initiatives. The agenda also included a joint lunch with staff and students from the Faculty of Philology, particularly those from the German Language and Literature program, offering a valuable opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of experiences. This visit represents an important step toward strengthening international cooperation and further deepening academic and cultural ties between Kosovo and Germany.
