IAB collaborates with Career Center on the project "Private Sector Partnerships for Improving Higher Education"
An important activity took place at Prizren University “Ukshin Hoti” on Thursday as part of the project supported by USAID called “Private Sector Partnerships for Improving Higher Education. Meetings were conducted with the Industrial Advisory Boards of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Computer Sciences.
During the recent “Kosova LEARN” workshop, various topics were discussed, including the analysis of study program needs, the E-Career platform, and the current capacity of the University’s Career Center.
The project activities, supported by USAID under the “Private Sector Partnerships for Improving Higher Education” project, aim to enhance partnerships between private sectors and academic institutions. These efforts are focused on improving market-oriented and experimental teaching methods in the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Agriculture in Kosovo. The project is led by the Iowa Consortium, with a significant role played by Iowa University (IU), in collaboration with the State University of Iowa and the Kosovo Education Center (KEC).
