Rector Alishani met Mr. Olivier Guero, the French Ambassador in Kosovo
On Tuesday, Mr. Olivier Guero, the French Ambassador in Kosovo, visited Prizren University “Ukshin Hoti”. He was warmly welcomed by Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani and his colleagues.
The topic of the meeting discussion was the successful collaboration between the French Embassy and French universities thus far, as well as the potential for continued collaboration on future projects.
Rector Alishani extended his appreciation for the French ambassador for the continuous support France has provided to Kosovo as well as the Embassy’s assistance in connecting our university with French universities. Within this framework, the Rector emphasized the fruitful collaboration of the two-year project called “University Training between France and Kosovo on Wine and Vineyards”. He also mentioned the French Week organized last year and the opening of the French Corner, which took place months ago.
Meanwhile, Rector Alishani expressed his interest and certainty regarding the continuous collaboration with the embassy and French universities. He also highlighted the collaboration for this year’s Summer School edition as a valuable opportunity for drafting joint projects in areas such as Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Jean Monnet, and more.
Present at the meeting were Prof. Assoc. Dr. Serdan Kervan, Vice-Rector for International Collaboration and Quality Improvement; Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Rakaj, Vice-Dean for Budget, Finance, and Infrastructure; Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Plakiqi-Milaimi, Dean of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences; as well as the professors Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ekrem Gjikaj and Prof. Ass. Dr. Nol Krasniqi.
