

The two-day workshop on the functionalization of the Center for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Transfer (QKIDT)
On Monday, the two-day workshop began, with a focus on the efforts of Pizren University “Ukshin Hoti” on establishing the Center for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Transfer (QKIDT). During the workshop, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Petra Karanikić, an expert supported by the German GIZ, presented a report on findings and recommendations.
The report presented by the Croatian expert, who leads a similar center at Rijeka University, contains recommendations based on various models for the functioning of QKIDT within the framework of Prizren University.
Rector Professor Associate Dr. Mentor Alishani expressed his appreciation to the German GIZ for their support and to the Croatian expert for their work in drafting the relevant report.
Professor Karanikić emphasized that, during the report’s drafting, she analyzed primary and secondary legislation and consulted all stakeholders to create a valuable report for the future of QKIDT.
Visar Haxhifazliu, a digitalization consultant, expressed his satisfaction in supporting the operations of QKIDT, located at the ITP-Prizren premises. He also mentioned their eagerness to expand future collaborations with the center and with the university in general.
