  • It is responsible for the organization and proper functioning of procurement procedures.
  • Provides advice, professional suggestions regarding the implementation of procurement procedures for procurement officers within the office and as needed for other officials when required.
  • Assists the supervisor in the professional aspect and informs him / her with the state public procurement policies.
  • Collaborates with the heads of all offices within the University, in order to draft a strategic procurement plan for the University.
  • Prepares, coordinates and implements the annual procurement plan and takes care of the implementation of this plan.
  • Corresponds and communicates with relevant procurement institutions (PPRC, PRB, Line Ministries, etc.).
  • Organizes cases according to priorities and management orders and reports on work performed.
  • Coordinates with the chief administrative officer in the field of procurement and is the contact person between the University and the competent institutions regarding the implementation of contracts by various contractors, as well as performs other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
