The IRO & Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office hereby announces the call for Erasmus+ KA171 (Third Countries Not Associated with the Programme) Staff Mobility.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
This call is open exclusively to staff employed at the University” Ukshin Hoti”Prizren, Republic of Kosova, including both academic and administrative personnel. The activity allows staff to carry out mobility at a higher education institution located in a Third Country not associated with the Programme, with which NEU has an inter-institutional agreement.
To be eligible:
- There must be an existing inter-institutional agreement (IIA) between NEU and the host university.
- Applicants must be actively employed at UNİVERSİTY “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren.
- Foreign Language Requirement: No minimum score is required; however, applicants must meet the minimum language criteria indicated in the relevant bilateral agreement.
DEFINITIONS
Staff Mobility for Teaching:
- Enables academic staff to teach at a partner higher education institution in a Third Country.
- An inter-institutional agreement between NEU and the host institution is mandatory.
- At least 8 hours of teaching must be delivered, and the teaching programme must cover a minimum of 5 working days.
- Only academic staff working in fields specified in the IIA may participate.
- Regardless of the applicant’s field of study, the unit of employment is taken into account. Eligible staff may participate without grant (zero-grant).
- Teaching mobility is calculated on a daily basis, and the Mobility Agreement must specify teaching days.
Staff Mobility for Training
This activity enables UUHP staff to receive training in MMEU related to their duties (job-shadowing, workshops, practical training, etc.) at a partner higher education institution. No specific employment category requirement for training mobility. Staff contracted in another institution but working full-time at a higher education institution may apply from their current institution. Staff employed through external service procurement cannot benefit from this activity.
QUOTAS (CONTINGENTS)
Applications are open to all UUHP academic and administrative staff who meet eligibility requirements. Priority may be given to units stated in the announcement.

EVALUATION CRITERIA
The selection and evaluation will be conducted by the Erasmus+ Selection Committee, based on the Erasmus Programme Guide principles.
- Never having participated in any Erasmus staff mobility (2014–2020 or 2021–2027): +20
- Foreign language score: 20% of the score received
- Staff contributing to the preparation of KA171 projects: +10
- Digital skills–related training mobility: +2
- Disabled staff: +5
- Activities related to AI (per National AI Strategy): +2
- Mobility to the country of citizenship: −10
- Withdrawal outside permitted period: −20
- Applying for both mobility types at once: −10
- Previous mobility participation within the last 36 months: −5 to −15

Not: Activities under 5 days or teaching fewer than required hours are invalid and no grant will be paid. If the participant returns early without force majeure, the grant is canceled and refunded.

ZERO-GRANT (NON-FUNDED) PARTICIPATION
Staff may participate without receiving a grant, but they must still apply and be evaluated according to the same criteria.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR DISABLED STAFF
Additional financial support may be provided for participants with special needs. Applications must be submitted through NEU to the Turkish National Agency.
In Matters Not Covered by This Announcement
The provisions of the KA171 Handbook for Higher Education Institutions (2023 contract years) and relevant legislation of the Turkish National Agency apply.
