The Swiss government, through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Studies (FCS), awards postgraduate scholarships to foreign scholars and researchers. These scholarships provide graduates from all fields with the opportunity to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research in Switzerland at a public university or recognized institution.

Graduates from Kosovo and who are Kosovo citizens are invited to submit their application to the Swiss Embassy starting now. PDFs with information on the different types of scholarships can be downloaded on the following websites:

Interested candidates should consult the afore-mentioned information, before contacting the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo ([email protected]) to obtain the application forms via e-mail.

The deadline for the application submission to the Embassy of Switzerland is Monday, 29^th November 2021 (poststamp). The application can also be handed over directly to the Embassy.

Please note that the decision to award a scholarship is the sole responsibility of the responsible Federal Commission.
